Home Project:
Next Friday, January 30 is the 100th day of school.  We are going to call this day “Super Hero Day.”  At home, please have your child design a cape to wear to school on this day.  The cape can be made out of anything from fabric to a trash bag.  On the cape please include 100 things of your child’s choice to attach to the cape.  We will be parading around the school with TK, Kinder, and 1st to show off our super cool capes. I have added some pictures of students who have made capes as examples.  Let your creativity flow. Also, we are in need of a couple boxes of fruit loops to make our 100th day necklaces.  If you would like to donate this please send it to school with your child.
Students are also to bring a SANDWICH BAG of 100 things of their choice to school this Friday as well to practice counting to 100.  If 100 things can’t fit in the sandwich bag then the items are too big.  Again you can bring anything from macaroni to pennies.
I can’t wait to see all of the creative capes!
